You know when Wile Coyote runs off a cliff, suddenly notices that he's standing in mid-air, and then plummets downward? I feel like that's what the summer did to us, and suddenly here we are, right in the middle of autumn.

This is not a bad thing. The wood stove is going every night, living room tunes happen more often, our beers have gotten a little darker, and the misty, darker weather just seems right.

But summer was so good with a bunch of fun gigs, fiddle festivals, and a couple of very fun weddings.

One of the best things about fall here in Portland is it's the beginning of Square Dance season. Check the ESSD schedule and go every week to keep those dark-day blahs away!
